Two villas. All the space you actually wanted.

Private pool. Full kitchen. The whole island to explore

There is a particular quality to the light here at dusk. Warm, still, private. That is Aurea.
Two private villas in a quiet residential neighbourhood on Zanzibar's east coast. Each one fully equipped, fully staffed when you need it, and entirely yours for the duration of your stay.
This is not a hotel room with extra space. It is a different kind of trip - one where you set the pace, cook if you want to, swim when the mood takes you, and spend evenings on a terrace that belongs, for a while, to no one but you.
The ocean is steps away. The neighbourhood is quiet, private, and safe. And we are here in the background, ready when you call.

Your Own Pool. The Ocean a Few Steps Away.

Two ways to be in the water. Both entirely yours.

The pool is private. No shared hours, no other guests. Just your terrace, your water, and however long you want to stay in it. The ocean is close - a short walk through the neighbourhood to the shore. Both villas have a partial ocean view from the bedroom terraces, so you feel it even when you are not in it.
Some guests spend the whole day between the pool and the terrace. Most make it to the water eventually.

The photo shows a narrow street in the Old Town, lined with historic, somewhat austere buildings. On either side are old buildings with wooden shutters, balconies, and canopies, and a dense network of electrical wires stretches above the street. In the center of the photo, a lone person can be seen walking down the street next to a small cart.
The photo shows a picturesque aerial view of the coastal town nestled alongside the turquoise ocean. Along the bright, sandy beach stretches a sprawling development of distinctive buildings with bright facades and red roofs, creating an atmospheric coastal landscape. Small boats and motorboats float on the calm surface of the sea, and the beach is bustling with people strolling and relaxing.

There Is More to Zanzibar Than the Beach

And the beach is already very good

The east coast rewards the curious. Seaweed farms stretch out at low tide. Fishing boats come in each morning. The sandbar appears offshore when the water pulls back and stays long enough to feel like yours.
If you want to go further - Stone Town, the spice farms, a dhow trip, or a safari extension into mainland Tanzania - we can point you in the right direction and connect you with people we actually know.
